Welcome to Lighthouse & Campfire.
Lighthouse & Campfire is a shared outdoor leadership experience designed for people who believe some of life's most meaningful lessons are learned through participation rather than observation.
Over four days and three nights, participants engage in conversations, practical challenges, shared responsibilities, reflection, campfire discussions, and meaningful experiences designed to develop communication, awareness, judgment, adaptability, and leadership.
Participants do not simply hear lessons.
They experience them.
This field guide is intended to help you understand what to expect and prepare for your experience.
Professional Development Credit
Lighthouse & Campfire is more than a memorable leadership experience. It is a structured leadership development curriculum designed for professionals working in high-risk environments.
Participants complete 24 documented instructional contact hours through facilitated experiential learning, guided reflection, integrated discussion, and professional application.
Many credentialing organizations allow certificants to claim qualifying professional development activities toward recertification.
Professionals holding certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) may claim these instructional contact hours toward recertification under Category 7 – Continuing Education, in accordance with current BCSP recertification requirements.
Participants are responsible for maintaining their own documentation and complying with the requirements of their individual credentialing organizations.
